Closure system
The peculiarity of the Xikar Cutter In addition to the unusually handy design, the innovative closure system is a clear advantage. The cutter can be closed for transport with a slider and opened again as required with just one thumb movement. As soon as the trigger is pressed, the side wings fold up and the cutter can be used to cut even voluminous cigar formats by pressing the side wings together.
Cutting diameter
The cutters have a cutting diameter that is ideal for cigars with a 54 ring gauge (2.14 cm diameter), up to cigar sizes with a 58 ring gauge (2.30 cm diameter) is suitable. But also more delicate cigar formats, can be cut without further ado with this double blade cutter, precise and clean.
Stainless steel blades
An even section of the cigar is achieved precisely by using the characteristic of Xikar products, multiple hardened and permanently sharp 440 stainless steel blades. These guarantee a constant and uniformly clean cut even after thousands of uses. On the Rockwell hardness scale, the stainless steel blades used by Xikar reach a value of 57 HRC, making them among the most hardened cutter blades available.
